Terms of Service

The short version: Scout22 is a pre-launch video-first recruiting platform. Candidates agree their profiles can be shown to companies. Companies agree to use candidate information only for legitimate hiring. We're not liable for hiring outcomes — we just connect people.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Scout22 ("Scout22," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Scout22 platform, including the website at scout22.co, the waitlist, and any future services we provide (collectively, the "Service").

By signing up for the waitlist or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please also review our Terms of Use, which govern acceptable behavior on the site.

2. Description of Service

Scout22 is a video-first recruiting platform that connects job candidates with companies through short-form video profiles. Candidates can upload a brief intro video and resume; companies can browse those profiles to identify candidates who are a strong culture and skills fit — before the first interview.

Scout22 is currently in pre-launch. The Service is not yet fully operational. By joining the waitlist, you are expressing interest in the platform when it launches, not purchasing or subscribing to any current service.

3. Candidate Terms

If you sign up as a job candidate, you agree that:

  • Your profile information (name, email, video, resume, LinkedIn, TikTok) may be displayed to companies that join Scout22 as hiring partners
  • You grant Scout22 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, and display your uploaded content (video, resume) to companies on the platform
  • You can request removal of your profile and content at any time by contacting agai.main@gmail.com
  • Scout22 does not guarantee that any company will view your profile or that you will receive any job offers
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of everything you submit

4. Company and Recruiter Terms

If you sign up as a hiring company or recruiter, you agree that:

  • You will only use candidate information accessed through Scout22 for legitimate hiring and recruiting purposes
  • You will not store, share, sell, or use candidate data (including videos and resumes) for any purpose other than evaluating candidates for open roles at your company
  • You will treat all candidates with respect and in compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws
  • You will not contact candidates through channels outside of Scout22 without the candidate's express consent
  • You represent that you are authorized to recruit on behalf of the company you registered with

5. Waitlist and Launch

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Scout22 platform when it launches. We reserve the right to determine the order and conditions of access. We will make reasonable efforts to notify all waitlist members by email before and at launch.

Scout22 reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the platform launch at any time without liability to waitlist members.

6. Fees

Scout22's waitlist is free to join. We have not announced pricing for the full platform. If and when we introduce paid features, we will provide clear notice and you will not be charged without your explicit consent.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to remove any user from the waitlist or platform for violations of these Terms, our Terms of Use, or for any conduct we determine to be harmful to the platform or its users. You may also remove yourself at any time by emailing agai.main@gmail.com.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SCOUT22 DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR RESULT IN ANY SPECIFIC HIRING OR EMPLOYMENT OUTCOME.

Scout22 is a platform that facilitates connections between candidates and companies. We are not a staffing agency, employer of record, or party to any employment relationship formed through the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOUT22 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR FAILURE TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scout22 and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
