What you'd do

Architectural down-selection and design for optical mechanisms.
Conduct mechanism-specific analyses like structural and thermal.
Create environmental test and qualification plans.
Develop high-volume manufacturing plans for optical systems.

What they're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or relevant area
5+ years of hands-on experience with optics or electromech.
Experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
2+ years with programming languages like Python or C++.
